Shown here in magnificent detail are fourteen nuclear powered submarines of the Thresher/Permit Class. Illustrated are the USS Thresher (SS-593), USS Plunger (SS-595), USS Haddo (SS-604), USS Dace (SS-607), USS Greenling (SS-614), USS Barb (SS-596), USS Jack (SS-605), USS Guardfish (SS-612), USS Gato (SS-615), USS Permit (SS-594), USS Pollack (SS-603), USS Tinosa (SS-606), USS Flasher (SS-613), and USS Haddock (SS-621). These ships could cruise at over 30 knots submerged and each had a crew of 127 men.
This beautiful, mint condition print measures 11" x 17" and is personally signed and dated by the artist.
